Apple 早前推出全新 iPod touch 16GB 型號，售 HK$ 1788。全新的 iPod touch 16GB 最明顯特徵是減去 iSight 鏡頭及只有銀色版本，其餘規格大致與第五代的 iPod touch 相同。
